This needs a health warning – addictive – if you make it you will want to eat it all!! My mother always made this for special occasions. It is so simple it’s become my daughters signature dish.
250g dark chocolate
350g milk chocolate
60g desiccated coconut
200g Turkish delight cut into small chunks
50g glace cherries
60g unsalted pistachios
Gently melt the chocolate in a large bowl over warm water. Stir through all the ingredients and pour into a lined 20 x 20 cm square cake tin. When set cut into squares using a sharp hot knife.
If you don’t have some or all the ingredients its does not matter! Substitute pistachios for almonds or add a cup of rice bubbles for crunch, just add what you love…
